The syllabus will consider the pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment of a range of acute and chronic conditions. This will include a consideration of the patho-physiology of these conditions, methods of diagnosis, management and outcomes and the factors which determine pharmacotherapeutic considerations individual drug usage in these conditions, such as age, co-morbidities, concurrent drug usage, and others.
